He began attending the Hartville church of Christ in 1994. In the past, John has played a big role in the congregation as a deacon with the youth: organizing outings, devotionals, teaching and with the Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes program. He became an elder in 2015.
John lives in Mogadore with his wife Lisa and daughter Carrie; they also have 3 boys who have left the nest. An electrician by trade, he is currently the Residential Department Manager for JW Didado Electric. John loves the outdoors, fishing, hunting and just being in the woods. He also enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.
LEWIS TURNER
Elder
Lewis was baptized when he was 13 and has been actively involved in the church since. He is at least a 4th generation member as far as he can go back. His grandfather was an elder in the church almost 100 years ago in the 1920's and 30's. Originally from Huber Heights, Ohio, in his teens he was involved in the church bus ministry program that took hours of scheduling and preparation each week.
He and Jeffa married and settled in the Hartville church in 1982 where they raised all three of their boys. Through the years at Hartville, Lewis has continued to be quite active in church work serving as a teacher, a deacon, being in charge of the youth group, Bible class program, fellowship, Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes and now an elder. Lewis loves family time especially with his three grandchildren, (Murphy, James, and Frankie Jane) who live in Tennessee.

MINISTER
CRAIG RESSLER
Craig grew up in a small rural town outside of Pittsburg (and we try not to hold that against him!). In 2001, he decided he needed to make some changes in his life and moved to Tennessee to live with his aunt. He started attending the Karns church of Christ in Knoxville, TN with his aunt. The young adults group there had a big impact on his life an he was baptized in 2002. It was also there that Craig met Amanda; they were married in 2009 and now have 4 boys: Eli, Owen, Isaac and Aden.
Craig attended the East Tennessee School of Preaching (currently known as the Southeast Institute of Biblical studies) and graduated in 2008. After graduation, he was the minister at the Oakhill church of Christ in Covington, GA from 2009-2017. The Ressler family moved to Ohio in December 2017 and Craig has been the minister at Hartville since January of 2018.
In his free time, Craig loves going to the gym, spending time with his family and playing video games with his oldest, Eli. Also, he loves anytime he can spend boating on a lake!
